New York, NY - At our Fifth Avenue Apartment Renovation, construction is wrapping up, and the owner is getting ready to move in. Existing wood parquet floors were bleached and stained, creating a nearly monolithic look. Metallic millwork paint is light and reflective, while introducing some subtle color. LED lighting throughout make the spaces feel bright. As we were trying to keep the ceilings high to the concrete structural slab, we did not have room for recessed fixtures in most spaces. So, much of the lighting is linear LED incorporated into coves, millwork, or within the sheetrock thickness at the ceiling.
